Our Gardens & Grounds
Beechfield House sits wonderfully centrally in 8 acres of grounds, comprising a walled garden and terrace area, formal lawns and flower beds, informal woodland and grassland with helipad and a small wild garden including some magnificent specimen trees.
Explore our trees
The splendid trees include a magnificent blue Cedar tree (Cedrus atlantica glauca) on the front lawn, a number of superb examples of the Dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) and the huge giant redwood (Sequoiadendron giganteum) in the small Beechfield House wild garden. To celebrate these species, each of our bedrooms is named after a tree in the grounds.
Enjoy Family Time
Put your skills to the test on our croquet lawn - simply ask at reception to borrow the croquet set - and, on the former tennis lawn, football goals are in place for a family kick about. You'll find our outdoor heated swimming pool within our colourful walled garden.
